What Is EFT?

 

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), also known as "tapping," is a therapeutic approach that combines principles of traditional acupuncture with modern psychology. The technique involves gently tapping on specific points along the body’s energy meridians while the client focuses on particular emotions or issues they wish to resolve.

 

Simple yet deeply effective, EFT helps release negative emotions, reduce stress, and unblock energetic patterns that may be causing physical or emotional discomfort.

How Does It Work?

 

During an EFT session, the therapist guides the client to identify the issue or emotion they wish to work on. The client then gently taps on specific points of the body—such as the forehead, top of the head, around the eyes, and the chest—while repeating phrases that help acknowledge, accept, and release the targeted emotion or issue.

 

This process combines the release of blocked energy with mental reprogramming, helping the client feel more balanced, calm, and at peace.
